How does Gut Rescue help these symptoms?

·         80% of our immune system lies within our gut. What this means is that there is a lot of bacteria that resides in our GI tract and are responsible to regulate the immune system, assist with nutrient absorption, and fight infections. However, one negative shift to our delicate balance can lead to dysbiosis.

o   Dysbiosis is defined as having fewer than normal probiotic organisms and an over-abundance of potentially harmful bacteria, yeast, or parasitic organisms.

·         Gut Rescue includes 6 different strains of bacteria: 4 lactobacillus, 2 Bifidobacterium, as well as a strain of Saccharomyces Boulardii.

o   Saccharomyces Boulardii is actually a yeast, not a bacterium. S. Boulardii has been shown to isolates a high concentration of manos in its outer cell membrane. It has been used to treat UTI’s because it adheres to pathogenic bacteria so well. It acts as a prebiotic and when taken with other probiotics- it can help to prepare the GI environment for good bacteria to come in without such a battle, leading to a smoother transition.
